Celebrating Your First Steps of Faith

Congratulations! 🥳 You’ve completed the "First Steps of Faith" course and embarked on a transformative journey of growing closer to Jesus. Over the past 28 days, we’ve explored the foundational aspects of walking with Christ, and we hope you’ve found these lessons both enriching and empowering.

Celebrating your first steps of faith

What We’ve Learned Together

1. The Power of Prayer In our first lesson, we delved into the significance of prayer. We explored the Lord’s Prayer, learned about the acrostic PRAY (Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield), and even used our hands as a handy guide for organizing our prayers. This foundation has equipped you to connect with God more deeply and consistently.

2. Engaging with the Bible Next, we turned our attention to reading the Bible. We covered a brief history of the Bible, examined different translations, and introduced the five W’s of Bible study: Who, What, Where, When, and Why. These tools have helped you approach scripture with greater understanding and insight.

3. Finding a Church Home In our third lesson, we discussed the importance of having a church home. We introduced the TENT framework (Theology, Energy, Nourishment, Testimony) to help you evaluate and find a church that aligns with your spiritual needs. This step is crucial for your ongoing growth and support in your faith journey.

4. Building Companionship Lastly, we explored the necessity of community. God created us for companionship, and it’s essential to find mentors, friends, and mentees. These relationships will guide you, walk alongside you, and allow you to pour into others, creating a vibrant and supportive faith community.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for each woman who has participated in the "First Steps of Faith" course. We praise You for the growth, insight, and transformation You have brought into their lives over these past 28 days.

Lord, continue to guide them as they draw closer to You. Strengthen their prayer lives, deepen their understanding of Your Word, and lead them to supportive church communities. Surround them with mentors and friends who will encourage and uplift them, and empower them to pour into others with Your love and wisdom.

Bless each of these women abundantly as they walk in faith, and may they feel Your presence and peace in every step of their journey.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Amen.
